Academy of Innovation has now became MIA

A very good news to all the KLU's is that our university has been oficially recognised as a member of Microsoft Innovation Alliance. This was told by MR. K Phani during his visit to KLU on 11/10/10 . What is left is that we need to officially anounce it in a function. Hope we will listen that good news soon from the words of our beloved CHAIRMAN Sri K. Satyanarayana Garu.

Second ideation program in KLU

Microsoft 2nd ideation program  headed by academy of innovation(AOI)  of KLU was held successfully on 11/10/10.....
Many innovative ideas from various colleges in and around vijayawada waited in peac ock hall of klu just for the arrival of screeing committee....
The morning session started with head of AOI....(G.RAMA KRISHNA) welcoming the guests n then the chancellor of klu ( K.SATYANARAYANA ) addressed the gathering n encouraged the  students to work more on research and innovation....
The guests who have taken all the pain to come from off-station to give suggesions and selecting the ideas were 
1. Mr K. Phani from microsoft
 2. Mr Munireddy from IBM 
3. Mr U Rama Krishna from MIC electronics 
4. Mr Ch R K Prasad from Kusalava Motors 
5. Mr. Siva Prasad from KTPS
Nearly 100 innovative ideas were presented before the committe  with short breaks in between...... 
Presentation was done by every student for a brief period of time in a lucid manner.... 
Nearly it took about 4hrs but every one was happy with the performance of students...... 
Later the prototypes of the previous Ideation program were reviewed and necessary suggestions were given by Mr. Phani..
The zeal of the students was very high every student wanted their idea to be second to none n that was appreciative...

Presentation details

All the people who have given your innovative ideas are invited to present their ideas in front of the steering committee on 11/10/10 ( Monday) in Peacock Hall at 10:00 a.m.

The Necessary details that are to be present in the presentation are

1)*Idea Description* ( MOST IMP : should be crystal clear)
2)Requirements (h/w and s/w)
3)Cost estimation(preferably <=15,000)
4)Advantages
5)Feasibility

You need to give a mock presentation in front of Prof. G Rama Krishna( HEAD MIA) in R & D Center ( Computer Block 2nd Floor) before the final presentation on or before 11/10/10.

Note : People who are unable to register your ideas but are willing to present can also present by giving a mock presentation.

SECOND IDEATION DAY IN KLU on 11th OCT

Finally the most awaited day has been announced!!!!!!. This OCT 11th we invite all the people from different colleges to present your ideas in front of the steering committee members. If they feel your idea is innovative and can be implemented within limited time and limited budget you will be luckiest. Then you will be encouraged to convert your idea into prototype.

What is IDEATION DAY?
All of us have innovative thoughts generated through our daily experience, problems and imagination. If you have any such idea and have the firm determination to accomplish your dream this is the place to be. Microsoft Innovation Alliance supports you and provides you with platform to excel and chase down what all say IMPOSSIBLE.

Friends, if you have such idea which not only is innovative but if it covers following prerequisites then you are the right person to be at KLU, VIJAYAWADA ON 11th OCT,2010.
1) Environment friendly
2) Economical
3) Versatile
